Restaurants

There are numerous restaurants within easy reach of the villa, serving local Dalmatian cuisine. This is a Mediterranean style with Greek, Italian and French influences.

Wineries

The Pelješac Penninsula is Croatia’s wine heartland. The sub-regions of Postup, Dingač and Potomje are all nearby, as are the famous vinyards such as Skaramuča, Grgić, Matuško and Miloš. Local wine tours can be easily arranged.

Shops and Amenities

The food in the local markets is deliciously fresh and very good value. Most of the food is grown locally so you can be assured that what you are eating is in tiptop condition and not nutritionally devalued by long journeys and freezing.

If you want to eat fresh fish at the villa, we advise you to make an early visit to the fish market in nearby Orebić town (ten minutes drive). Here you can also find a greengrocer, butcher, bakery and a bank as well as gift shops and three supermarkets. Possibly the best honey in the world. Available from Gordan in Barsa restaurant in Loviste.

Even closer, there is a small supermarket in Viganj itself.
